SUPPORTING PEOPLE TOWARDS INDEPENDENCE

Safe Support Limited provides a range of bespoke support and care packages for young people. All of our services are person centred and bespoke. All services are provided by highly skilled staff, from diverse backgrounds that include: education, social work, management, care and support workers, social workers and project managers who safely support individuals on their journey toward a more independent, productive and enjoyable life.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND A PATHWAY TO MEANINGFUL EMPLOYMENT

Safe Support Limited, recognises the importance of education and training as a mean to achieving a person’s life goals and as a way to achieve meaningful employment and independence.

As an organisation, we have established links with a range of employers, that provide apprenticeships and training, for individua. Often, such training can lead to permanent positions and provide real opportunities for meaningful employment and economic independence for those we support. This is a key part of becoming more independent.

Safe Support Limited is also able to provide one to one tutors and teachers (if required) in a range of subjects based on individual need. This additional service can provide education to those currently out of school or college for whatever reason.

Safe Support Limited have established strong links with schools, colleges and online training providers that can help to meet the needs of young people and enable them succeed, achieve and thrive.

A PERSON LED, ACTIVITY BASED APPROACH

Safe Support Limited believes that building social skills is essential to any pathway to employment. Through a range of exciting activities and experiences, young people are able to develop confidence, team skills and move towards a more meaningful and independent lifestyle. Activities include sessions at the local gym, swimming, cycling, walking, bowling and taking part in team sports such as football or rugby.

SUPPORT TAILORED TO THE INDIVIDUAL

At Safe Support Limited, we know that support needs to be person centred and bespoke. As a result, we match the needs and aspirations of individuals to opportunities available in the community.

This might include work experience and voluntary work that boost a person's CV, increase their confidence and move them closer to full time employment.

We also provide opportunities for involvement in The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme along with film and music production. It' really down to the individual's own aspirations and wishes.
